Aboriginal Corporation Management
Heritage Link’s mission is to help empower Aboriginal People to manage their own heritage, culture and art through not-for-profit Aboriginal Corporations or Businesses. Heritage Link works with Aboriginal Groups to establish their own Aboriginal Corporations to achieve these goals.
Heritage Link utilises 25 years of business experience in the commercial world to implement common-sense business structures and to streamline processes to ensure that Aboriginal Corporations can concentrate on their objectives and not be burdened with overly complicated administrative processes.
Heritage Link also ensures that all reporting requirements are adhered to under the relevant Government bodies such as the Australian Taxation Office, Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporation and the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission.
Heritage Link’s ongoing role in each Aboriginal Corporation varies depending on their individual requirements. Most often this will be as Heritage Agent, Chief Executive Officer, Financial and Administration Manager and/or Independent Director.
Heritage Link is the Heritage Agent for the following Aboriginal Groups:
- Badimia People
- Mullewa Wadjari
- Wajarri Yamatji (David Jones)
- Wajarri Yamatji (Gavin Egan)
- Wajarri Yamatji (Tim Simpson)
